So, has anyone been keeping up with the virtul world/website called Second Life? Man, I've been watching this because of the industry I'm in, and many companies (and individuals) are making real money on this site. I believe I even saw that MLB did a simulcast of the home run derby at the all star game on this website. Anyway, I think it would be interesting for Disney to build their parks in this virtual world, and to try out new rides/products/ideas within this world. Heck, they could even sell avatar clothing which would allow them to gauge popularity of designs and styles.
Just sayin'...it would be sweet, even for them to recreate some of the old rides for virtual experiences...like Horizons. It was there the first year my boyfriend took me, we rode it, I kind of remember it, but the next year we went back it was closed. I was bummed. It was his favorite ride. Personally, I like what replaced it (he'd kill me if he knew I said that today). :drevil:
So, what do you guys think? Hear of Second Life? Anybody a "resident?"
