SeaWorld Parks & Resorts Orlando

SeaWorld’s new resort destination in Orlando helps stretch vacation dollars and maximize vacation fun

Orlando, FL (April 24, 2012) - SeaWorld Parks & Resorts Orlando, including three theme parks and seven official hotel partners, is now a full vacation experience offering money-saving travel values, exclusive benefits, a convenient location and unique sea-themed adventures found only at SeaWorld and its parks.

SeaWorld’s other parks in Orlando include Discovery Cove, an all-inclusive swim-with-dolphins resort, and Aquatica, SeaWorld’s waterpark.

“SeaWorld Parks & Resorts Orlando is the one destination in Orlando where families can conveniently connect with our parks, our animals and the rest of Orlando’s attractions, combining preferred hotel stays with significant savings and exclusive benefits,” said Terry Prather, president of SeaWorld, Aquatica and Discovery Cove. All within walking distance of SeaWorld, the park’s official hotels include quality resorts by Doubletree by Hilton, Fairfield Inn & Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, Hilton Grand Vacations, Renaissance, Residence Inn and Springhill Suites.

“This is a great opportunity for guests coming to Orlando and looking for value and a unique vacation experience,” said Bob Walsh, general manager, Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld. “We’re providing adventure, savings, and amazing extras you can’t get anywhere else.”
SeaWorld’s parks and hotel resorts are conveniently located on the International Drive entertainment corridor mid-way between Central Florida’s other theme parks and are the closest of all resorts to the Orlando International Airport.

There are sought-after benefits to staying with any of SeaWorld’s hotel partners including discounts on shopping and dining, and early entry to the parks on select dates. And “getaway package” options offer values not available anywhere else. Package options include:

Eat FREE All Day - featuring the park’s all-day dining deal FREE with each full-paid admission to SeaWorld Orlando and Aquatica;
FREE child’s admission with each paid adult admission at SeaWorld and Aquatica (limit 2 free kids);
And with any hotel package booked, guests who buy 4 nights will receive a 5th night FREE.

And as an added bonus, guests who stay in any of SeaWorld Orlando’s official hotels also have access to these exclusive benefits:

FREE transportation to SeaWorld, Aquatica, Discovery Cove and Universal Orlando;
Access to the behind-the-scenes look at SeaWorld’s animal rescue team, “SeaWorld Rescue Tour,” free to guests of the SeaWorld Orlando’s official Hotels.

Eh, Sea World is cool, but it's a 1 day park. Discovery Cove is too expensive, and there are plenty of water parks to go to.

Several of those resorts in your signature would be considered too expensive for what you are getting by many people. Is Discovery Cove really too expensive by comparison? It is the #1 rated park in the Orlando area on TripAdvisor. It wouldn't be up there if people didn't think it was worth the money. Your admission price includes breakfast, lunch, and drinks all day long including alcoholic beverages. Also, it is truly a unique park. Where else can you swim amongst the diverse array of fish and rays without getting on a cruise ship or charter boat? It also has the most awesome lazy river EVER which goes through an aviary! Once this new Freshwater Oasis attraction opens it will be even more worth it.

I don't deny that it's a great park. It better be.

Big difference - Those resorts in my signature includes all 5 members of my family, not just 1. One day at Discovery Cove would cost me $1,500. We can spend 10 days at Disney's parks for that price.

Discovery Cove is AMAZING. I am a huge Potter fan, but have never considered spending one of my Disney days there. I will get to it eventually. Discovery Cove on the other hand is beautiful. All inclusive food, beverages, anything you might need while there, limited admission, and amazing marine life. It doesn't hurt that my wife loves dolphins. That is her special part of the trip, while I get to meet all of my princesses. She has to deal with a grown man obsessed with princesses to get to Discovery Cove, but I guess its worth it for her. I love the place too. Growing up in the midwest, I never got to snorkel with tropical fish or interact with dolphins at all. Discovery Cove is truly an amazing place and worth a day. Plus your ticket gets you 2 weeks admission to either Busch Gardens or SeaWorld, so this helps offset the price a little if you are interested. We have still never gone to either, I need the princesses too much.

theres no new info there, they should do an official hotel. they could do some really creative stuff with that

Blackstone has made it known that they want to expand the SWPE parks in a manner never done before. BGW is headed for year-round with new darkrides in the works, hotel, new country, and some other stuff that cannot be said yet.
