I am planning our first trip to Orlando ever. We are doing 7 nights, 8 days at WDW and going for two days at Universal/UIOA and wondering if I should try and squeeze in a visit to Sea World? What exactly is there to do. I checked the website but I dont like the way its laid out and actually got very little info from it. Are there rides there? We will have a 3 and 4 year old and a 19 year old. Would they find anything to do there or should I just leave it off the plan? Any thoughts? It looks like from what I can see its mostly just shows?

The two coasters and Journey to Atlantis (a more thrilling log flume) are solid attractions, a significant portion of the park is shows and encounters. Shamu (Drama), Dolphin show(Cirque) and the Sea lion and otter show(Comedy) are all great shows. Some great exhibits in the wild Artic and the penguin walk through. I don't know what the 3 and 4 yr olds like but if they like aquatic life sea world is great. That being said my gut feeling is that if you were to do it a year later they would get more out of it. Oh and for some reason Sea World always seems hotter than the other theme parks, kinda like Animal Kingdom.

You posted this several months ago, so maybe your plans have completely changed. But we just got back from taking my almost 3 year olds to Sea World. They loved it. There are lots of shows they really liked, and the kids rides area is very good.

The food is...eh, but not terrible. I would've loved to go on Manta or the other roller coasters. I did talk my wife into letting me ride Journey to Atlantis while she stayed with the kids, and I really liked that.

I thought it was very good for their age.
