Walt Disney Records has released a new album featuring holiday music from Cars Land at Disney California Adventure. You can listen to it via Spotify here.

I don't know why this exists but, ya know, why have the new Fantasmic! soundtrack when we could have Larry the Cable Guy? Anyone? Anyone? Oh, forget it. ;)

Out of all the soundtracks they could release...they chose Cars Land holiday soundtracks from two rides. They could honestly released more.

So far this year they've released:

Exit Music version of Happily Ever After from the Magic Kingdom
Rivers of Light and the Tree Awakening from Animal Kingdom
Guardians of the Galaxy: Monsters After Dark
Cars Land Holiday Soundtracks from Maters and Luigis.
A Kiss Goodnight from Disneyland Forever (Only with the Kiss Goodnight Book)

And we still don't have soundtracks for the new Fantasmic and others that people actually would be willing to buy. I think its time they release a new official album but with stuff they haven't released yet.

The Cars Land soundtrack has sold very well, and I'm sure fans would be asking for this if it hadn't been released. Its existence isn't stopping Disney from releasing other park music if they're ever smart enough to do so.

But, can we talk for a moment about the Cars' Xmas celebrations in general? We know there's a Santa Car, so... is there... a Cars version of the Nativity? As with the question of how Cars reproduce, it's one of those weird Cars Universe areas best left unanswered. : D
