Hello Again, it's me.

Well I went to Disney yesterday, and it motivated me to want to work at Disney again..of course it always does. Well I met this CM last night during Wishes, and we started talking and he lives right down the street from me..sort of funny, and we had a lot in common..churches, etc.

Anyways..here are my real questions:

1. How many times a year do you have to work for seasonal?
2. For Seasonal do you have to give all the time availability?
3. Can you work when you want?
4. I really want to do characters, is 16 still the proper age to do it?
5. Also what other departments can you work in while at age 16?
6. Also is it worth to leave my job at Publix?

Disney probably won't let you work when you want to work. If they did that, it would be impossible for them to do scheduling. They may allow you to choose days that you definately can't work, but they won't give you unlimited choices.

At the Disney Store we are told when we are hired that we need to be available for flexible scheduling. Our manager is very big on that, but she also considers what you can't do. I'm sure Disney won't be evil about hours. But you do need to offer yourself for almost all availability.

That is not really true...there are people that only work one day a week at one time slot of the day. Then again you can ask them to give you so many hours and if they don't there is always the extra hours hotline.
