While at sea the ships try to sail around bad weather, so your sea days are pretty good all of the time (if course if there is a BIG weather system, that is a different story)

Ports of call are what they are - they haven't figured out how to move the land (yet)

Your first post makes no sense to me. I am not sure what you are asking with your last sentence.

Calm down!

Those are the directions that the winds come from. I would suggest you get a compass and turn until y the needle is facing north. Then you can see where all the directions are from. Example, East, southeast will be slightly over your right shoulder, North, Northeast slightly to the right of right in front of you, west, to your left, etc.

It takes much more then just *rough seas* to really effect the vessels motions.

1. The DCL vessels are equipped with state of the art stabilizers that go a long way to minimize rolling and pitching. Also the course and speed of the vessel in relationship to the winds makes a big difference.

2.The general winds are not likely to make for heavy rough seas.

3. There are various factors that due cause rough seas, including but not limited to the direction of the winds, depth of the water, direction and rate of ocean currents and their direction in relationship to the winds and the distance and direction of any land nearby.

The bottom line is relax, go enjoy the cruise!
