Official Press Release form the Walt Disney Co.

Dec 2, 2004 - The Living Seas gets a long deserved E-ride to join it's Seabase Alpha in 2010.

The Living Seas at Epcot will be gettign a brand new ride. The ride will incorporate some amazing new technology. The car will be steered via radio signals, meaning, it does not follow a track.

The ride will take you through a huge water tank, with fish, sharks, and a bunch of other sealife. However, the computer has a couple glitches, and you crash through the glass into the shark-infested waters.

Seabase Tours will be the first actual ride at the Living Seas since the long since dead SeaCabs.

MY only problem is this. It's a cliche. Most thrill rides are built where you are supposed to do something, but something goes wrong... Lets see how many I can count:

-Star Tours
-Space Shuttle America
-Back to the Future
-Jaws
-MIB
-Indiana Jones
-Alien Encounter
-Space Mountain Mission 2

There are much more but it might be better to stray from the something goes wrong thing. Of course, it may be impossible to do so but I think it can be done.

Is this a really for real ride in the works?

Nothing on this board is real. In terms of actually being a disney attraction. Some people on this board though build models, CGI models, and RCT1,2,and 3 models as well as drawings and other such things.

Yes, I'm the only 13 year old working for Disney Imagineering :p

DarkMeasures: You've got a point there, but I can't think of any other way to have the thrill element in the ride.

I wouldn't announce age until your 17... So I have about 2 weeks until I can say how old I am...

But I wonder, is anyone here legal and younger than 13 here?

Right...I'm royally confused by this now. We're all safe unless somebody starts a 'Announce your age' thread. Whats the prob anyway? My REAL name isn't Dr.Seeker, but regardless of age we shouldn't give that away. *oh no i've gone cross-eyed*
