Have any of you used a Sea Raycer lately? We're thinking of renting one this year and are wondering if anyone knows how much they cost. We're staying at the Contemporary this trip and my dh would like to video the shoreline around the lakes.:dazzle:

I am not sure how much they cost but we did a Magic Your Way Package for our upcoming trip and it came with a voucher for one free hour if you bought an hour. We're planning on using it if the first hour isn't outrageous, but I don't know the rates myself! Sorry!

I just rented them this summer, the price is $30 for 30 minutes, $40 FOR 45 min , and $45 for 60 min. if u book through aaa you get a voucher for a free 30 min if you purchase an hour.

no they don't weigh you, but the more weight the slower they go, and they arent fast to begin with. it would probably be more enjoyable if your friend got his own boat. I've rented them before ad an hour is more thanging enough time to go everywhere a couple times. I think its $40 for an hour, tho I enjoyed the cast 50% off :-)

I think I did 45 minutes last time (I wanted to check out BLT from the water). 45 minutes to and hour is plenty of time to check out all of Bay Lake and the Seven Seas Lagoon.

The OP mentioned videotaping. When you rent the boat the rules say no picture taking. I assume that is for safety reason, not for security. I have seen plenty of picture on the web that were taken from the water, and I have seen people on the boats with cameras. Take that as you will.

I would go with only one person per boat. I am about 225 and its not the fastest of craft. I forget what it had in it, somwhere around 10 horse maybe.
