Scuttle's scavenger hunt

I started a thread a few months ago asking if anyone thought the queue was over kill for a ride that eats people and the line will move so fast. This scavenger hunt looks really cool, I just worry that they spent money to make it and no one will really have the time to enjoy it. I guess it's a good problem to have.

Isn't Peterpan the same kind of ride that "eats people" and those lines are pretty much 1 hour long at any given time.

I don't know my throughput numbers but I've always heard that Pan does not have a large capacity as compared to the Clam shell rides like Haunted Mansion and Nemo. The flying boats aren’t as close together as the clams. I want to say Pan is like 800 and the little Mermaid is like 1500. But, maybe someone else who knows can respond.

There are some good coverage, videos and pictures of it here:

But here is the thing about Peter Pan, you are in a flying pirate ship and that is awesome!

Higher, for both. The Mermaid clams can hold more people than the Mansion doombuggies (they're bigger), but there are less of them because Mansion is longer. So Mansion and Mermaid have similar numbers. And Pan doesn't have as many vehicles, but it's shorter, which means more people can ride. And those pirate ships can actually hold a lot of people. Mansion can fit 2 adults, Pan can fit 4 (average sized) adults. Add in the huge number of little kids pan has, and that could be up to 8 people (4 adults, 4 lapsitters) in a boat, is the CMs are doing a good job grouping. (3 adults or 2 adults + 2 kids is more realistic, but still more than a doombuggy)

Mansion, Pan, Small World, and Mermaid are MK's people eaters. (The mountains my be in there too, but I'm not sure of their exact numbers. But they are down so often, they don't eat as many people as they are designed to.) Pan is the lowest of those, but it still has pretty high numbers compared to most rides.

I don't see how the length of a ride has anything to do with it's hourly throughput.

For a continously loading ride it doesn't. If I am putting 2 people on the ride every 5 seconds then it doesn't matter whether it takes 5 minutes or 10 minutes for them to come out the otherside, the hourly throughput is still the same.
