I was at the Seas tonight at Epcot and was walking around SeaBase and I heard music I havent heard before with some screechy guitar music in one part of it. It was more loud than I am comfortable with. Ridiculous. It makes it hard to concentrate on the information thats being presented or the animals. Especially if you have noisy kids in there as well. I dont like this at all.:( Has anyone else just experienced this?

I don't think it's any cause for alarm... I am sure some of the track from Finding Nemo will be in the mix and there is one particular part in the soundtrack that has some dramatic screechy guitar sounds...only lasts a few seconds... plus there is a good chance they arent finished yet... It cant be that bad!

I was in the Seas Pavilion for a good bit of time yesterday too... I didn't really hear screechy guitar noises, and if I did, they didn't distract from my experience... I do, however, dig the real light music from Finding Nemo they are using in the pavilion, and made a comment yesterday to my friends about it. The music made for underwater sequences in the movie translates perfectly to the underwater environment of The Seas

I also was at the seas last night for about 3 hours, and didnt notice anything out of the ordinary at all with the music atc... And as a side note, you couldnt see anything in the under water tunnel, giving hints to the new clamobiles. :(

Don't know about the music, but I imagine some new Nemo theme music will become part of the background sounds in the pavilion. Hopefully they were just having some difficulty with the speakers/sound/volume. I consider everything still a work in progress until everything is complete.

As a side note, I didn't want to start yet another new thread about The Seas and I don't mean to steer this thread's direction in a new way, but I read the following on screamscape (I know....) and thought it was interesting. Can anyone confirm if any of this is true? The info can be found here: http://www.screamscape.com/html/wdw_-_epcot.htm. Here is an excerpt:

SPOILER ALERT
"Apparently the queue is quite large for this new ride and has been given a beach theme. As you move forward though the queue area, you will be given the impression that you are moving closer to the water and eventually walking under the water, which will be reinforced by a view of the bottom of a boat attached to the ceiling. This is all before you’ve even boarded the Clammobiles."

Just a little thread drift... No idea if that's true but it wouldn't surprise me. They've had a similar theme at the Coral Reef restaurant. When you walk into the restaurant and check in at the host's stand, you're at the beach. As you walk down the hallway to the dining room, the colors and the decor change to suggest you are going under the water. Then when you enter the dining room, you see those massive windows out into the main tank.

The thing about the Beach is true. I have a roommate who has been in there.

Hopefully the music things will fix itself. If it seems bad or too loud to you though, please complain.
