Sea Lions On Mars / Madagascar Live - Rumor - (2/13/13) Screamscape sources tell us that two new shows are on the way to SeaWorld Orlando in 2014. A new version of the Madagascar Live show will be coming to SeaWorld Orlando in 2014 as a replacement for the park’s Allure show in the park’s Nautilus Theater. I’m also hearing that the very long-in-the-tooth Pirate themed Sea Lion and Otter show will finally get replaced in 2014 as well by the long rumored “Clyde & Seamore Go To Mars” show.

It'll be a shame to lose "Clyde and Seamore take Pirate Island", as that is one of the shows that we watch every time we go. However, the new show would still have Clyde and Seamore in it, so I'm sure that it would still be good to watch - it will probably be a very similar show with a different theme, so that's fine.

A'Lure - saw this show last time we went and would never go back to see it, so any replacement for it is a good thing. But would this be the same show that is going in to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay/SeaWorld San Diego? And how to jungle animals fit into a park about the Sea? (unless there are sea creatures in the films - I've never seen them - I know there are penguins) - but yesterday, when the Busch Gardens announcement was made, I thought that it could possibly have replaced A'Lure due to its proximity to Shamu's Happy Harbor (not right beside, but not on the other side of the park), and, as this is Screamscape, maybe they did as well?

I agree that it would be sad to see Clyde and Seyemore go. But it is time. The change is needed.

Allure... sadly this show never really had the heart it wanted to have, the story was too out there in some abstract ways.

I think a new show for that location would be terrific, and I also think that section of the park by Allure is the next big section to go under the wrecking ball.

The decision to send Clyde & Seamore to Mars is weird - having them with pirates would make sense, but Mars? Sending them to the moon would have made more sense - they could have moved to the Mare Tranquillitatis/Sea of Tranquility!

But, out of the three Florida theme park companies, who would have thought that SeaWorld would be the one to actually take us to Mars?


I do think that the SeaGarden/former Hospitality House area will be next as well.

I agree with you. I believe a new attraction will be going there eventually.
