Scooter question - transporting

I almost hate to ask this question because I know the subject is not a favorite but I’m going to because it’s for my parents. Both of my parents are in their late 70’s, have multiple medical issues and are planning to rent scooters from an off-site dealer to get around during our next trip It would be nice if we could transport their scooters in the back of their mini-van instead of trying to get both of them on a Disney bus. We are also planning on a day at Universal and a day at Sea World and I know both places probably rent scooters but getting from the car to the rental place can be a very long walk for my mom. My mom currently uses a power chair at home and they have a ramp for the van. My question is has anyone tried to transport a scooter in a van and if yes do you think there is room for two scooters.

i have not, but if your has the ramp, you should be fine. i have a friend who went with an injured knee and her family had rented a van so that she should easily get in and out. also if you are staying onsite, disney world buses/monorail/boats also have a type of ramp or lift to make it easy to get on and off. just alert the proper cm so they know, and that you will be greeted with it when you get off as well :)

If you weren't going anywhere but WDW, then having 2 scooters wouldn't be a problem. My Mom&Dad rented them from an outside vendor, and they deliver them to your resort as well as pick them up at the end of your vacation.:) The buses were not a problem, and both scooters fit into out All Star Music Family Suite.:)
