scooby doo character dining

i believe they do this at all the universal hotels, has any one got a link to it, as i cant find it on the universal site

Is this something new, cause I have never heard of it? I stayed at the Royal Pacific in December and there was no Scooby Doo character dining. I can't speak for the other 2 Universal hotles though.

hi just got an email from loews.

in the Islands Dining room
mondays 6.30 to 9.30 scooby doo and gy
tuesdays shrek
saturday woody wood and curious george.
no reservation needed ,but this may be because we are staying at the hotel

Sounds like they added the character dining thing. As for the hotel, it is excellent. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms and amenities are better than what Disney offers. There are several eating options including Islands, Emeril's Tchop Tchop (sp?), and Jakes American Bar. The only thing lacking is a quick serve type of place. My only complaint is that the rooms weren't as sound proof as I would have liked them to be. I could hear noise in the hallway, but other than that the hotel was excellent. I would definately stay there again.

thanks TTa ,have been looking on different sites and it seems a lot better than disney unless your going to delux at disney. have read about RPR but better to here from someone who has been there.
