Sci-Fi Dine In

I really like the food and the cast members treat you well. I loved it! Great selection and very good service. Have a look at the menu.

Our last visit, DS and I went on our last day to use up our remaining credits for Table Service [we'd had to cancel one of our ADRs earlier in the week], the CM out front said they were booked solid for the rest of the day and were not accepting any walk-ups . We went in to the desk to try and find out if there were any seats available elsewhere and the CM there asked why we didn't want to eat there... She had us seated within 10 minutes :sohappy:.

I think my only complaint is the lighting, it is very hard to see what you're eating. It's a very minor issue, I still recommend the restaurant highly!

We have eaten there several times, but only for lunch, burgers, fries and shakes were good. Service was fun. I believe the menu is different for dinner and have heard it is not as good. Kids love the place.

I like eating here once in a while, as the atmosphere is so unique and I can remember my mother taking us to the drive-in when we were little. The food is good, not spectacular or anything, but for me there isn't enough on their menu that I do like for me to frequent it more than once in a while. But that has to do with my likes/dislikes and not the food itself. The kids will love this place.

I think it's the best restaurant in MGM Studios. The food is excellent and the waitresses/waiters have a great personality with the guests. If you plan on eating at Sci-Fi, then you best make dinner reservations IN ADVANCE.

Love it! It has a coolness to it that cannot be described until you've been there. It's just fun! We have been for lunch and dinner, we prefer lunch as there's more burgers and sandwiches.

Sci-Fi's my favorite restaurant at WDW. I always look forward to it on each trip we go there. I love the movies and I love the atmosphere. The food is nothing unique but it's good, nonetheless in my opinion. The waiters we've had there have always been some of the best on the trip, and I think all this combined is what keeps us going back every year.

BTW, Lunch is the best time to go.

I'd say stick with the Burgers, as we have tried different items and found them to be pretty lame.

Also...be sure to try the "Cookies-n-Cream" Milkshake! It's pretty awesome!

ENJOY!

I've eaten there several times and I have to say lunch is MUCH better than Dinner. I love the atmispher and the service, but I would stick to Burgers and shakes for the food. That's what they do well.
