Saw Figment twice today

Hey there everyone...

I went on JII today and I must say that I was quite impressed. Its great to see the state of the art Figment Animatronics in action. and the FINALE is a fooler....

Good stuff...its amazing what 8 million and a nod from Eisner will do....People will want to go to JII again....Good for Epcot...Good for everybody....

I went on it yesterday (and the day before that) and also loved it. Figment rocks! It was so great to finally see him again. I love the changes, especially Figment's starring role.

Also, I got the limited edition pin that was released this morning. It's awesome. It was "Figment's Back: Summer 2002". Four CORE pins were also released and I got every one except for a fourth of July one. The others were an artist Figment, an Astronaut Figment with a Spaceship Earth background, and just a regular Figment in his yellow sweater (or is it a jacket?).

Anyway, I love the new ride. Gotta love that song!

Figment along with Spaceship earth on a pin would be sweet... I am really getting excited about going down... since last Feb. things have been opening. With Premival Whirl and now Figment.. I think its going to be a great trip! :D

I am thrilled about all the positive feedback about this new ride!

I went last year and kept telling my daughter how wonderful that ride was and how I loved it when I was younger.....what a lame ride it turned out to be!

Can't wait.

Less than 2 weeks now!

WDWGuy, why is the finale a fooler? SPILL IT! I can't take the teasing anymore! :hammer: Oh, could you also tell me what the unloading area is like. I heard it was one of the best parts of the whole ride! Thanks!:D

Yup, I too was on it on June 1. I was in the front seat of the first train of that morning.

Over all,....It was GREAT!! Version 3 is far better that version 2.....but still doesn't quite capture that all the magic of version 1 (original)

I took extensive video of the ride (including the hidden "infrared" figment) I'll be posting a link to a 15meg video tomorrow for anyone that's interested.
