Has anyone ever done the Savor the Savanna tour? What is the food like? My husband and I are not adventurous eaters so I'm wondering if this tour would be worthwhile.

I have not done the tour you are referring to, but I have done others that involve AK and food.
If you look at the menu of places like Jiko, Tiffin's or Sanaa and don't see much you like than a tour based around food similar to what they offer is probably not the best idea.
Something like the Wild Africa Trek might be more to your liking as it is more about trekking and less about eating.

Unless you are talking about anything beyond hotdogs and chicken nuggets, there is not much at WDW that is really all that adventurous.
