As of a few days ago SaveDisney is officialy gone. I think it is to early to judge how much, if anthing, Roy's campaign did for the company.

But then i thought, "Hey when has that ever stopped everyone before"

so I open this thread for your coments and thoughts

feel free to argue and rant till your hearts are content

I think it sux cause I really liked reading all the articles posted on Save Disney. Its been my Home Page since it was first launched. Plus i'm really gonna miss the Walt Quotes that came via E-Mail.

And my Save Disney Bumper Sticker is staying right where its at until Eisner is really gone. I've been surprised by how many questions I get from random people about that bumper sticker and I always am happy to tell whats going on in the company.

I agree. I know that it all really had to end when Roy agreed to shut up and come back into the fold (in essence), but I did like the articles in Save Disney. The company would do well to review what that site did (besides the rants). It did a good job of showcasing the heritage of Disney, and in doing so reinforcing the "corporate culture" that has really built the loyalty of so many Disney fans.

Disney always used to do a good job of "telling the story" of Walt and the values that built the company. And that was always what built most of the supreme loyalty to the company that took childhood fans into adult fans.

I just hope that the company will again start doing that.

The site was there to put pressure on Disney Management whenever they would do things not in the traditional Disney style.Mission accomplished for the most part if you ask me.
