I'm sure but it's more cost effective to keep turning out ToT crap then totally revamp the ride. ToT stuff sell well I'm sure. I don't think Guardians was a merchandise juggernaut i could be wrong.

I just re-watched GOTG for the first time since watching it in theaters, because I had almost totally forgotten about "The Collector".

If that's what they're basing the overlay on...it's really weak. The entire sequence is only about 5 minutes and is far from the most memorable sequence of the movie, save for the orb opening part which really isn't part of that IMO, just happens to be a place they opened it.
