my sister is going in June and rented DVC points. She's looking at the requests for online check in and isn't really sure where to select. She wil be there with her husband and 3 year old.

Suggestions?

Congress Park for close proximity to Disney Springs and a nice quiet pool. The Springs for easy access to the main pool, spa and restaurants. The Paddock for easy access to the pool with bigger water slide and poolside snacks (and a couple of the buildings are another easy walk to DS). The Grandstand for a more secluded feel, golf course views and very nice quiet pool.
SSR is a nice place, good views, lovely grounds, several good pools, decent dining and easy access to DS. I can't comment on transportation as we drive, so no real experience with the busses other than sometimes we might take a bus to a park instead of driving, but only on a whim and have only done so a couple of times. Both those times it was not bad at all, but we usually go during less busy times like mid-May, early September and early December. And, we spend more time at the resort than at the parks.

I think there are three (maybe 4) stops inside Saratoga Springs... But it is so nice! We loved that resort when we stayed there... We stayed away from congress park and had a pool close to us and a short walk to the bus stop. We had to walk across the lake to get to the main building. It was a walk, but beautiful in the morning... We loved it! Would definitely go back!

We were in the Grandstand section. It was only a 5-7 minute walk to the main building/pool. If we wanted to walk to DTD, we just got on the first bus and hopped off at that end of the resort. I don't think you can go wrong with any area.

Have stayed at Paddock for the pool and walking distance to Downtown Disney and for the transportation. A word about the transportation: There are 5 stops at the resort. In order of pick up and drop off it goes to Grandstand, Carousel, Paddock, Congress Park, and then the Springs. So people in the Grandstand area will be the first to be picked up and the first to be dropped off. In the morning by the time the bus reached the Springs it can be at standing room only capacity. While we where at the Paddock we always were able to find seats as it was only the 3rd stop.
