Saratoga Springs bus stop at Epcot?

I just wanted to ask if anyone has had this experience. The day after christmas my brother and I went to Epcot and we left at 7pm so we could get back and go in the pool while we assumed the slide was open (we thought it closed at 8). We waited an hour for a bus to show up to take us back to Saratoga Springs. OKW and Wilderness got picked up 4 times. Another stop, couldn't see which one, had 2 people at it and got picked up when we had 40. We didn't complain, we didn' care too much, but from what people in the line were saying is that this is a common problem.

Has anyone else who has stayed at Saratoga encountered this problem?

Not at SSR, but

We experienced the same issue when we stayed at AKL in August (more often than not) when leaving Epcot.

We experienced the same thing in August, and it was almost every day, both going to the parks and going to the resort, and like you said, we too saw many other resorts get picked up at least twice before we even saw a bus for our resort. We probably won't stay there again unless we rent a car. So much for our home resort.

We've had tons of problems with the buses from EPCOT and DHS as well as from hotels. The buses are often late. A rental car is so much superior in many ways.

Yes I've had this problem with a few resorts.

I actually stayed at Saratoga Springs last Christmas as well.

Overall, Saratoga Springs isn't exactly known for its prompt bus service. Still a great resort though. :)

We had that problem last January at SSR trying to get home from Epcot. Although in our case, we were trying to beat the Illuminations crowd so we left at 8:30, but didn't get a bus until well after park closing.
As far as getting picked up at the resort, the only issue we had was that we were in the Springs which is the last stop before leaving the resort and so in the mornings, many of the buses were nearly full by the time they got to our stop so only a few people could get on. As a result the number of people waiting for that particular park would get larger until two buses would come for the same park, the first one full and the second empty.

I live less then 2 hours away from WDW so when we stay there we have our cars, but we still take the buses. I guess we just don't feel like driving. I don't have a problem with the busses being late every once in awhile but if it is a habitual thing then something should be done about it.

We have had the same problem when we stayed at SSR. We also waited over an hour at Epcot for a bus to return us to SSR. We haven't had many good experiences with SSR. That is why we prefer OLD Key West over SSR. We have made many attempts to stay at BC and BWV only to be placed on a wait list. We never had much luck with the wait list. Knowing what I know today we would have never purchased at SSR. If I could get my money back I would sell today.

I have only stayed at SSR twice, but that is one resort where I have NOT had that problem.

No matter where I stay, it seems to the be place with the longest lines for the bus. I highly doubt this is true, and instead is just human perception, but the two times I stayed at SSR I was quite happy to have minimal waits for busses (the grand tour around SSR is another issue).

I've experienced my first bus ride from Animal Kingdom to Saratoga Springs just to get to Downtown Disney and now I know why some buses take so long. I have never seen so many baby carriages on a bus all at once!

There are 4 stops at Saratoga Springs and with each stop, people had to get off so a baby carriage can be carried off. Same with each stop there after... :dazzle:
