Sanaa and food allergies

My family really wants to eat at Sanaa during our trip this summer. However, I have a nightshade intolerance, which means I can't eat tomato, potato, pepper, and eggplant. I just looked at the menu and it's heavy on those foods. I know that Disney chefs are very accommodating for allergies (they were great during my vacation last summer), but with the sauces, seasonings and other accompaniments that Sanaa offers, will they be able to come up with something I can eat?

They should be able to come up with something, but with that many allergies/intolerances you might qualify for assistance from the WDW Special Diets group, who should be able to tell you options, or possibly get something else prepped in advance. Try reaching out to them.

I had no idea that was a special group for that! Thanks!

They are usually pretty helpful, but only get involved when a guest has multiple allergies, I think it's either 4 or 5. That many may mean they cannot accommodate the guest with the normal allergy menu, so will assist.

The chefs definitely know what is in their food and based on allergies will tell you what's safe and what is not. I've seen them walking people through large buffets telling them what has what in it. They also offered to make them something too, even emulating a dish they had there but was safe for the allergy sufferer. Amazing quality service there.

FWIW- my son has a shellfish allergy and the chef comes out to the table to ask us about it. Hope you find something so you can enjoy a very unique dining experience.

Sanaa was one of our favorite places to eat last trip as a family with multiple allergies. There's many items without nightshades and the chefs there will work with you
