Next month I'll have a weekend to do anything I want in the SF bay area. The furthest west I've been in the USA is Texas so I am a "California newbie". Anyone have recommendations about what to do out there?

Don´t miss riding a trolley, going to Lombard Street (I challenge you to walk up and down there... hehe), go to Ghirardelli, eat some oyster soup at the Fisherman´s wharf pier... :slurp:
Have fun for me! I loved it!

I love San Francisco!!! Fisherman's Wharf is a definite must do, cable cars too! Also, if you can get on one of the city tours, they used to have a cable car set on a truck chassis which would take you on a tour to some of the highlights. Highly recommend doing one of those!

Have a great time!!

I left my heart....

The Cannery, Fort Point, Alcatraz and Golden Gate Bridge would be high on my list.

Oh yeah, eat some rice in China Town!
