You may know that Universal's parent company, Vivendi, is undergoing bidding for its sale. GE's NBC is one of the top contenders for this company.

General Electric Co. (GE) broadcast arm NBC is still in talks to acquire the U.S. entertainment assets of France's Vivendi Universal (V). Several high-profile bidders remain involved in the slow-going auction, but NBC is regarded as a top contender.

GE + VUE: Blockbuster Or Bomb?GE's proposal - a merger of NBC and VUE operations, with Vivendi receiving a minority stake - is for all of VUE, according to one person familiar with the talks.
That includes not only TV production and cable networks, among them USA Network and the Sci Fi Channel - widely considered a good fit - but also VUE's theme parks and movie studio. Observers agree that they don't see NBC keeping the parks, as obvious synergies are lacking. "

If NBC aquires Universal, it apparently means that they will turn around and sell off the parks. The question I pose is What do you think will happen to the parks? And, since this site is wdwmagic.com, how do you think this sale will affect WDW?
