Safari Celebration Dinner

Grand gathering going to WDW in November, with 5 children ranging in ages from 3 to 12. We are discussing booking Safari Celebration Dinner, but need help in determining if its right for us and worth the money. Has anyone else done this experience and if so, please give me your honest feedback. Want to know if the Safari was different, how the food at Tusker's was, which charachter appeared and what animal encounter you experienced. Thank you, thank you, thank you, in advance.

Thanks Shoppingnut, but actually what we are wanting is the Safari for the Grand Gatherings, not only persons staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge. I really want feedback from folks who have done the Safari Celebration Dinner, so I can made a decision whether to do it or not.
