Its sad news for the World BOB Hope passaway at 100

I just heard this. It's going to cloud up my day for sure. Tom Brokaw wrote the book "The Greatest Generation" about the WWII generation. My grandparents are part of that generation, my grandpa's a WWII vet, actually. They are quickly slipping away from us. Too quickly. I truly believe they are the greatest generation.

Rest in Peace, Bob Hope!

God Bless you Mr. Hope! Thank you for bringing so much joy to millions! You did so much to help the morale of our troops, I only wish you had been able to travel to Iraq to entertain the new generations of our troops...they don't realize what they were missing. I miss you Bob and and was brought to near tears when I heard of your death. God Bless you!!!

Actually, amazingly enough he did make it to Iraq - not this war, but Desert Storm. I think he was 88 at the time. He was an amazing guy.
