Sabrina The Teenage Witch at Animal Kingdom

Hi All

I was just watching an Episode of Sabrina the Teenage Witch from back in 1998. She visited Walt Disney World, how cool, I recognize sooo much!

They showed them getting of the 'River Boat' ride at Animal Kingdom. Does that still exist? I don't recall it.

I recognize the Safari ride and 'Dinoland USA' etc. just not the river boat ride.

The river boat ride did not last long because guests soon figured out that you could see the same things from the pathways so no point in standing in a line to get on a boat.

It had two docks. One was on Discovery Island (then called Safari Village) between the Oasis bridge and the Dinoland bridge. They now use this dock for character greetings, entered near the Dinoland bridge. The other dock was over near Flights of Wonder. I believe part of this area is now seating for the nearby food windows, but I don't think the dock itself is accessible (but you can still see it down along the river).

The route of the boats pretty much just circled Discovery Island. Apparently Disney didn't learn their lesson from the MK's Swan Boats.
