Running the Royal Family 5K...looking for shirt ideas

Hey all!

I am looking forward to running my first 5K in 2 weeks! I have always been interested in the Disney runs, especially the Princess Half because it is usually on my birthday weekend, but I was never a runner so didn't think much of them. Back in November I decided to start a couch to 5K program and set a goal to do the 5K this year and the half next year! I have had to take a few breaks from training due to various illnesses and medical issues, but I am good now and have been working hard to get ready. I planned on going to Disney for my birthday that Saturday anyways, so I figured my first race would be the perfect way to celebrate!

Anyways, I probably won't be wearing a costume as I don't have the time or money to figure one out right now. I may just make a simple tutu using Cinderella colors (she is my favorite princess). But I definitely want to make a shirt to wear. I would love something with a somewhat unique/catchy saying on it. I was thinking something to do with running a 5K for my 25th birthday, just not really sure how to word it. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, I would really love to hear them! The only thing I could come up with is Celebrating a Twenty-5K Birthday!

I am so excited to be doing this in 2 weeks and I already see myself getting addicted to running races!

I think Twenty-5k Birthday is super cute, honestly. You could put swirlies around it in the shape of Cinderella's coach maybe?

First off, Congrats on running your first RunDisney race :) They are so much fun! I will be running the race too! I typically do costumes on a budget. I have done a Rapunzel outfit by a running shirt with just some ribbon and flowers safety pinned to the shirt, and then I had a purple skirt. Anyways, I love your idea about the twenty-5K. I wish I had thought of that when I turned 25 at my first Princess Half Marathon! (Also ran the half there).
I have yet to finish working on my costume and I have the material and the top just no idea where to start lol

I could try to give you some help as I'm somewhat of a sewing fiend :3 What are you making and what pieces do you need to make?
