Running the Everest Challenge...as a couple of characters, any tips?

Hey everybody,
My girlfriend and I are already planning for next year's Everest Challenge race and we really want to do it as Rapunzel and Flynn from Tangled. She's cutting her (brown) hair short like Rapunzel has it at the end, and I just have to grow mine out, although I already do have the same beard that Flynn does. But any tips on how we can be "in costume" but still able to run? We are both really competitive, so we do want to try and put up a good time! I'm already thinking our name will be "Team Tangled".

You may have better luck on the Running sub forum within this forum. Beyond that however, I have seen people use colored markers on a white tech shirt to draw in the costume, or sew the appropriate pattern on the tech shirt. Or maybe do a blue shirt and sew on some white sleeves as I think that is what Flynn looks like. Lots of mesh for the womens dresses/skirts is common. Look at some past pictures from the races to get ideas, especially the princess half for dress ideas.
