Gonna be on a ten day, 3 resort split stay 07/18-07/28. Typically stay at BLT. I love to run pre-dawn on my vacations. At BLT you get to see all the maintenance at the MK entrance and the lights in the dark, etc. Does anyone have good routes from these three places for this trip?

I apologize, I may not have been clear. The official trails are nice but for anyone that likes to run more than 2-3 miles, they can get repetitive, if not hard on the knees with all the turns. I would like some feedback on how to adapt and venture away if needed to run longer.

Ah OK gotchya. The three resorts you have have a limited amount of pathways, and the official routes do pretty much max out the available walkways.

The Beach Club/Yacht Club/Boardwalk,Swan and Dolphin combined areas have the most available walkways for some greater distance.

Any long runs at WDW will pretty much require you to either hop on the treadmill at the fitness center, or start doing loops. Most of the individual properties are gonna max out at around 2 mi, maybe you can hit 3 or so if you follow the sidewalks in and around every building.

As Steve mentioned, the Epcot resorts might be a good bet, you can pretty much run from DHS to Epcot, and around the resorts as well. Maybe stretch it out to like 4-5 miles. Or maybe if you get over to Fort Wilderness, looping through the entire campground can be a reasonable run.

WDW does not like people venturing out onto the roads. Many of them don't have sidewalks, and security may escort you back to your resort if they run into you on the roadways.
