Rumor: Fires at BTM

I have been receiving reports that BTM has been having a few fires for the past few days! Can anyone confirm???

I can confirm this, I spoke with a trainer over at BTM because we had been accepting BTM Fastpasses at SPMT one night so I asked about it and they said that indeed they did have a total of 4 fires last week all for the same reason, however now that problem is resolved. The problem was, when the trains came into the station the fin at the bottom was scraping the brake and causeing a spark and the spark ignited the grease below the track....all better now though

Sounds like the nylon rails wore down. Yeah, sparks are bad around grease!

i think they should call the special disney fire department

all the characters come dressed in firemens suits and put the fire out
then one the fun is over disney's lawers parachute from 20,000 ft. and force anyone who saw it never to speak of it again

well, while it's bad that these fires did happen, i'm glad it was fixed quickly and that no one was hurt; disney doesn't need anymore bad media this summer.

This is just another testament to Disney's creativity and ingenuity - it's obvious they've tried to mimic wildfire season out West during the Summer months at BTMRR. Something tells me come Fall these fires will be out much like they will in the "real" West.
