Update One: The Plan
Hey guys! I just want to begin by stating to anyone that feels this doesn't belong on the imagineer forum that all my designing is practice for future careers (hopefully with WDI) and I really just wanted to share my progress with you guys 
So this is my room....
Nice as it is, I'm 15 years old. I feel I have passed the age limit for that room many years ago. On my recent trip to America, I had the chance to drive along Route 66 for 3 days. I was inspired! The journey was relaxing and calm, just the mood I want in a bedroom! The music, the fresh air, the colourful rocks all added up to what is now going to be my Route 66 room.
So let's start with the most important thing, The Story!
You will begin your journey in the beautiful city of chicago. This will be represented by using pictures of landmarks in the small hall outside my room. As you walk towards the door a large sign informs you about the next stop on your trip "Now Entering Route 66". As you open the door your hit with the smells of fresh air. 50's rock and roll blasts from an old radio on the nightstand. A large mural on the wall places you right in the middle of the desert. Everything in the room will represent something I encountered on my trip. Enter your vehicle (bed) and see what it's like to drive down the historic road. Now for the final stop, as you go to leave a sign on the door reads "Now Entering California". This marks the end of our journey, but you can always go back to chicago and start again
So that's the story, I will be sharing all the progress I make on this thread including my personal designs for the room. Glad I could share with you guys!
