Rose & Crown to view Illuminations

We are eating at Rosé & Crown for the first time in Oct. The main reason why we booked this restaurant is to sit outside and see the show. I have 6:55 reservations and Illuminations starts at 9:00pm. I'm figuring this is ample amount of time for us to snag a good table on the front patio. Has anyone been able to do this? If so how early did you get there and how long did you have to wait for a table when you made this request? Or were you told no for some reason?

Arrive around 6:30pm and tell them you would like a table outside and will wait as long as you have to in order to get one. You may not be seated until 8pm or so, but in October I don't think it will be that difficult. We have done Illuminations from Rose and Crown many times, but usually just take the first table available and then go out to the outside viewing area when it is time.

Excellent advice. :) I second it.

This ^^^ but October can be tricky. With F&W going on, the weekends get crazy busy. As long as you go midweek you shouldn't have a problem :)

Ask the CM if Johnathan from Scotland still works there ( he doesn't by the way ) and then tell the CM he's a close friend who promised a table by the lake..;)
