Rose & Crown Pub/Dining Room

So in my years of going to Disney World I've never eaten at Rose & Crown. I have some questions about it to anyone that knows the answer:

What is the difference between the Pub and Dining Room? I know they have separate menus:

(The PDF's of the menus are on the Right Hand Side)

Can you order Kids meals at the Pub or just the dining room? What about the full drink menu or desserts?

Why are different soft drinks available at the Pub than the dining room (Per the menu there's no Diet coke in the Pub, or Sprite in the Dining Room).

I've only ever had drinks inside the pub, so I'm not certain as to the kid's fare. But I'm not thinking, simply due to its nature, that the kid's menu would be available inside there.....

The Pub is strickly a pub. No food.

The pub does have some food available. You can get fish and chips or a couple different kinds of sandwiches. The pub part isn't really what you'd consider a "table service meal" though.

Also, the outdoor patio portion of the restaurant is considered part of the "dining room." That's where you want to be.

The Pub has a well-stocked, full-service bar. It is also one of only two(??) in-park drinking-only establishments that accept Tables in Wonderland. (Tune-In Lounge at the Studios being the other)

FYI, if you're in the Pub and are looking for fish & chips, I think we discovered it's cheaper to go outside to the serving counter to get them and then bring them into the Pub with you.

Does this mean you can order food at the bar? Or does this refer to the tables surrounding it? Love the outside but we did have an abundance of bird visitors when we ate outside.
