DAK Rope Drop plan???

We are AP holders arriving May 25th. I was not able to get any FP's yet for either Pandora expietence. Could we do rope drop and try to do one or Both attractions?
We have never have never had a trip line up with a new Land opening so we are

Or is there a standby line?

There will be stand-by lines. The FOP one is seemingly long enough for a 4 hr wait

I would avoid opening day (27th), and probably head to FOP first.

AK is opening at 7am until 4th July, and from 11pm to 1 am for extra emh for Pandora only. IF you're staying onsite and you don't have young children, I would consider going for those last 2 hours rather than rope drop. Might be less waiting.

The park hour calendar on the Disney site says that the park opens at 8am. It also doesn't mention that only Pandora is open during EMH. Can you state the source of your information for those of us planning trips please?

The morning EMH is only two days a week, not every day, per the link.

I'm glad that I saw your post about the night EMH only being Pandora. The hours calendar on the Disney site does not distinguish. They really should pull it out separately on the list if this is the case (Like they do for Future World and World Showcase at Epcot.) Thanks for the heads up. This impacts my plans.

That's an update then, I think. I would keep an eye on it from time to time, just to make sure.

Anyway, just checked the times on the calendar from the official site. Saturdays and Mondays are 7am opening for emh. Checked the first couple of weeks. Got fed up with the slow response after that!
