It's me again from the UK. Thanks to everyone who responded to my last question about WL. Now I have another, I am seeing conflicting reports on the rooms. I understand that you have to fax disney a few days prior to you arriving and request which kind of room you would like. But my question is We haven't a clue as we have never stopped there before. Is there a specific floor that is better or a view. Please help as we are going in about 4 weeks and we want to make sure we get it right before we go.

Thanks again

Hi Again!

Woods views are very nice. We like to get a room somewhere in 6022-6032 with 6030 our favorite. It faces the MK. I still have memories of sitting on the balcony and watching the fireworks and the castle change color all night. (though the trees may be too tall for this now, its still our fav room). There is a bog on that side of the building with frogs, turtles, etc. Its fun to watch.
We had requested it for our Aug trip this year, but since the hotel was full they could not honor it. We were upgraded (gratis) to a Courtyard view...Rm 6158. Very nice. It over looked the Villas and the quiet pool. To the left was Fort Wilderness. Very nice.
It was farther from the elevators and very quiet.

One thing...the balcony is enclosed by a solid wall. If you have small kids keep and eye on them They only way to see the view is to climb on a chair.

No matter what room you get you will have a great time. Let us know how you make out.

(You don't have to contact them before hand...you can take whatever room they give you, but if you have a request do it about 5 days or so before)

The upper floors generaly have a better view and are quieter. You can fax your room request to the room assigner no more than 4 days prior to arrival (if you fax it earlier it is filed and could get lost).
