Craigslist always has roommate stuff. I considered renting a room out and decided against it, but saw a lot there when I did. People list where they want to live, if they need to be on bus lines, what they need (like wi-FI), what they can't deal with (like drugs or guns), pets, smoking preferences, etc.

Being as I'd want a Roommate Agreement much like Sheldon & Leonard's and most of the people looking for rooms wanted to smoke pot (there is a number for this, like 423 or something - "423 friendly" or "Need 423-friendly"), I gave up before I started and just asked my neighbors to call me if the house caught fire or something while I was out of town.

I'd absolutely meet people before plunking any money down, if I were you!

Good luck with the move and welcome to Central Florida!!

I agree with luv. You should meet the people first, and stalk their Facebook and Twitter accounts if they have them. You don't want anyone there who wants to smoke pot and get drunk all the time. Social media sites can give you a lot of info on someone.
