Room requests

Make requests when you make your reservation. They are documented in your reservation and Disney will do their best to fulfill your request.

Room requests are not guaranteed unless they are for a paid upgrade.

If the ressie has already been made through a TA, do I contact them to add the room requests or can I call the resort line and get that added on my own?

When I made my reservation, I made my initial request for a specific room, area, king/queen...view....whatever. When we were about a month out, I called the hotel Disney Reservations to confirm that my request was on my reservation. When were were about a week out, I called the resort directly. Just be sure to request in order of importance to you.....ie.....if your most important request is a king room, be sure that is listed first. We stayed at WL last September and our request was for a room over the lobby, pool view and king bed. They honored our lobby and pool view but gave us a queen bed and bunks....UGH! Now that being said....they try to honor requests but it is not always possible. Have a Magical Trip! :cat:

Good to know. We will be at AoA Cars, and just would like a room not facing the pool for the noise, and when I told this to a friend, they recommended we ask for "lake view." Hope that's not a hard req to fulfill.

We asked for a "lake view" when we stayed at AoA and it was granted. Like you, we did not want a room facing the pool. The CM told me that most people want a pool view, so it should not be hard to fill. We got our lake view and I hope you do too.

Just FYI...The buildings containing the suites at AoA have interior hallways and no balconies. Even if your room did back up to a pool, the chances of noise are pretty low.
