Room Requests at the AKL Club Level

We are staying Club Level, Standard Room, 4th Floor.
Two questions:
1. How do I make room requests?
2. Any suggestions for our room requests in terms best views of animals? From the pictures I've found, it looks like the Club Level rooms are near Arusha Rock, which I usually do not think of as providing good animal views. Any suggestions?

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
Unfortunately most all club Savannah view rooms are Arusha Savannah. I don't have any suggestions of what to ask for as we have not personally stayed on club level at AKL before and usually stay at Kidani.
But I do know you just call the main reservation phone number to make any requests. They will note them on your reservation. Online check in only gives you so many requests you can ask for. So I always call to make my requests as well as do any I can with he online check in. I also advise calling a few weeks prior to your trip to double check all your requests are still noted. And do remember no requests are guaranteed. Sometimes we get our requests and sometimes we do not. :)

Actually, you don't call main reservations for your requests. You work with the itinerary planning office for AKL. They will send you a planning form and you can make all requests and ADRs through that process. As well, you can contact them at any time via the email address they will give you to make requests, change ADRs etc. Easiest way to do anything with Club Level.

Yes correct you can do that but you can also call the main reservation line. I stayed Club level at some of the other resorts on property (Boardwalk etc) before and frankly the main line was easier/faster sometimes than dealing with the Resort itenerary/concierge team itself, if it was before the trip for my room requests and such. And I like to book all my dining myself as well. Now of course while there we utilized the concierge team in the club lounge for any needs that came up. :)

Can't agree at all with that. The Itinerary Planning Office at the Poly at least has been terrific. Every request has been met over the years with no effort other than returning the planning office document and a couple of emails.

As for ADRs, same thing, just fill out the times I want on the form and they get them with only the occasional miss which usually they can fix. This year they couldn't get one ADR at all. So I emailed an alternative that they got and said they'd keep looking for the original. Sure enough, about 4 weeks later they sent an e-mail with the confirmation number for the original restaurant at the time I wanted. They let me decide which now conflicting ADR I wanted to delete. Everything in my control and my plans. Total time spent dealing with Disney, 5-10 minuted and I have everything I wanted at the times I wanted and they did all the work. And no waiting online for a Disney rep or getting about 12:00am. It couldn't be easier and with do little effort and again it's all my plans in my control.
