Room Reguests at Wilderness Lodge?

Hi Everyone,
We have a reservation for a woods room in April. Should we make any special room requests? Like a high floor, close to elevator or close to transportation?
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Personally I prefer a high floor just because I like the view. You might want to ask for a lake view to see the Water pageant. If you ask for close to transportation you have either the buses or the boat to Magic Kingdom to Choose from. If you dont want to be stuck at the end of the hallway then ask for close to the elevators.

Thanks. I am going to ask for a top floor. Is it better to be near the elevator- or are they noisey?

They are not too noisy -- but I wouldn't ask for one nearby -- there are elevators off of the main lobby, and there is another set about halfway down each hallway -- they are NOT long walks -- in fact, they are shorter walks than any other resort at WDW so there is no need to worry about where your room is in relation to the doors/elevator/transportation....The one thing I WOULD advise is that you not request a room facing the pool -- it gets incredibly loud there - not only from the pool events, but special events that crank up the music until about 11:00 pm
