Room only prices

I am planning a trip for March 2019. I know the prices for packages are not out yet. If I call Disney they can give me a room only rate but does anyone know how far off that price is compared to what the package price will be when it comes out. I was told those prices don't come out till June or July.

Room only versus package has nothing to do with it. The reason it'll change (increase) is because your current quote is in 2018 prices versus 2019 prices.

Regardless, never book a package unless there's a discount. Room only cancellation and deposit terms are much more flexible.

Booking a package does not save you money, in the sense you get a discount, you just are able to pull together all the different components of your disney stay, i.e., meal plan park tickets, etc, etc. Disney should open up 2019 in another month to book 2019 without calling them.

Remember you can book now, and then update/change it in the future.

Package prices = Room Rack Rate + Ticket Costs + Dining Package cost (If you want DDP). Unless there is a specific offer such as free dining, there is no cost benefit to buying a package.

I think general rule of thumb is a 10% increase or so each year. So look at this years prices, and then add 10-15%.
