Ronald Reagan Passedaway

WASHINGTON (AP) - Ronald Reagan, the cheerful crusader who devoted his presidency to winning the Cold War, trying to scale back government and making people believe it was "morning again in America," died Saturday after a long twilight struggle with Alzheimer's disease. He was 93.

He died at his home in California, according to a family friend, who initially disclosed the death on condition of anonymity. The friend said the family has turned to making funeral arrangements. A formal statement from the family was expected later.

GOD Bless Ronald Reagan

Was very sad to hear that news, but he is in a better place now. He has been gone, mentally, for so long. His family can now remember the good times and know that he is no longer in pain.

Ron Reagan was the President of my youth, before I had any idea of the true nature of politics. He will always be the measuring stick for any President to me. He had a truly impressive presence and charisma about him.

God Bless Ron Reagan and his family.

Was a very good man, even if he was not the best President.

BTW, its passed away. Use spell check, it makes you look a lot smarter.

he was a very good man and all...and I don't mean to seem rude or anything...but this is the WDW Parks General Discussion forum...doesn't this belong in Chit Chat?

Alzheimer is terrible... and the worst part is that you never know if the patients realize they are bad or not. :( Hopefully they don´t.

Last night I was tearing while listenning to fragments of the letters he sent to his wife. Sooo sweet and romantic!
R.I.P. Mr Reagan and I hope his widow finds comfort soon.
