[COUNTDOWN=]02/01/2015 10:30 honeymoon[/COUNTDOWN]I will be celebrating my honeymoon in Disney World. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to how we can squeeze some romantic experiences into our trip.

My sister and her husband went on their honeymoon there and she said they just made sure to spend some time relaxing at the pool and hotel and making sure to fit it some romantic dinners like Victoria and Alberts :) Spending time walking through Epcot World Showcase without rushing to get on rides or anything can be romantic, especially at night! You could even do the Epcot After Hours Wind Down which I've heard is great and you can eat at one of 4 of the restaurants. Just some ideas!

We honeymooned at WDW, but it happened to be desserted. It was shortly after 9/11. People were not travelling, but there was also not much vacancy either. My advice is to just have fun and don't rush around. We enjoyed time at the hotel (AKL) watching the Savannah. We got to AK about 90 minutes early. The resort showed it opening at 8AM and it wasn't until 9AM. A CM saw us standing around looking, let us in the turnstiles to look around the front. Then, another CM asked if we wanted breakfast. She walked us to Donald's Breakfastsaurus, gave us free breakfast, and we got to meet all the characters. There were only about 4 tables occupied when we go there. Characters interaction was non-stop for about an hour.

Breakfast at The Grand Floridian Cafe is lovely.....lovely setting.....good food.
Dinner at Narccosse's is very romantic....again....lovely setting and excellent food.
Dinner at The California Grill can be very romantic overlooking the MK and watching the fireworks from you table if you plan it right.
Wandering around The World Showcase and exploring can be fun and relaxing.
Dinner at Artist Point at The Wilderness Lodge is great and one of the best meals I ever had at Disney was Jiko at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Just tell them that you are celebrating our honeymoon and they will give you a very nice quiet table.
You did not say where you will be staying.....I assume on the property.
Have a Magical wedding and honeymoon! :cat:

It can be as romantic or not as you want to make it. Spending time wandering the resorts, doing your meals at the deluxes tend to me more relaxed than grabbing burgers in the MK. Spend an evening watching the fireworks from one of the monorail resorts, perhaps dinner at the California Grill? Maybe a couples massage session.

The fact that it's your honeymoon will probably transform every aspect into something romantic!

That being said, strolling around the Magic Kingdom at night, hand in hand, always feels very romantic to me (especially during evening EMH, when parts of the park can feel rather deserted). Then again, now that we have children, my husband's and my idea of wild Disney romance is whispering, "hey, the kids are down for naps! Let's slip into the hotel bathroom, lock the door, and see what we can accomplish -- silently -- in 2 minutes!!!" so you'll have to take my words with a grain of salt.

We got married at Disney and just went back last week 8 months after the wedding. No kids. We tried planning our days without it being too scheduled bc that can be stressful. What we did was a nice sit down dinner every night and then watched the fireworks. Being able to sit down and have a nice dinner after walking all day is underrated especially if it's a romantic trip. We had dinners at Le Celier, California Grill, Teppan Edo and Rose and Crown. Le Celier and California Grill were awesome. Besides the food being outstanding the hostess at both asked if we were celebrating anything and put us at nice tables at each place. It really makes a difference. If you have the money if look into some of the private firework shows as well. At illuminations a night we did the dessert and champagne party. That was nice. The private boat at bay lake is next on our to do list for wishes.
