Surprised no one has mentioned this yet on here! From Van Eaton Galleries (in Sherman Oaks) who does all the big Disney auctions:
Van Eaton Galleries is proud to present “The Life and Career of Disney Legend Rolly Crump”, an exhibition and auction which brings together items and stories from the amazing career of one of Disney's most unique Imagineers. This exhibition and auction contains over 400 artifacts, props, and original artwork which highlight some of Rolly's iconic achievements. Rolly worked on such attractions as the Enchanted Tiki Room, Haunted Mansion, and It's a Small World, and some of his personal artifacts are seen here for the first time since they were initially created. This collection represents a lifetime of creativity and imagination from the mind of Rolly Crump.

Some seriously amazing stuff from Rolly's collection (like original Small World models!!!). Sad he must be in a position where he needs to sell it though...

I’ll be there! Or at least check out the stuff before the auction.

That is sad. But maybe he just has SO MUCH, that he figures at this point in his life it's time to streamline his collection to things he truly can't part with, and allow the others to go to people who will truly appreciate them and make a little dough in the process.

I sincerely hope he's doing well. The man is brilliant. He's very much responsible for a huge number of the great details that give DL its depth and character. Most of my favorite classic touches in the park are his creations.

He's selling some good stuff! I'd love to get that Haunted Mansion head or the toy solider from it's a small world. As for Rolly Crump, I'm sure he's fine. He's either trying to get some stuff off his hands or hoping to make a bit of money. I seriously doubt he's homeless.

No need to worry, Rolly's doing very well! He's just at a point in his life where he would like to share his stories and many of his incredible items with people who will truly appreciate them. The exhibit and auction provides a great opportunity for people to come and see a lot of the behind the scenes work that Rolly put into some of our favorite attractions and shops. For those who are near Sherman Oaks, Ca, the exhibit opens tomorrow and we have an Opening Reception this Friday! We hope to see everyone there!

Annnnnnnd I’m officially not an anonymous face anymore. Cool.

Anyway currently participating in this auction online and getting outbid by the likes of Neil Patrick Harris and Jeff Bezos.

I visited that gallery a few weeks ago. Tons of great stuff. @mickEblu did you bid on anything?

Ya awesome stuff. I did bid on the HM framed lenticular portrait, the original IASW poster and a couple other things. Didn’t win anything. I should have went harder on the poster. I stopped bidding at like $1300. I was surprised to see it go for only $1600. It was also weird that the starting bid was only $500 For an original silk screened poster so I started thinking that I didn’t do some homework that maybe some others did.

Apparently, there's a small tear and slight discoloration, which I imagine greatly reduces the value of the poster to collectors. Not sure how often park used posters come up for auction though?

I imagine Splash Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, and other more iconic posters go for much more.

Splash Mountain not so much. But POTC and HM go for much more. I suppose your right and the tear lowered its value. Collectors will overlook small tears if it was hanging in the park though. I’m guessing that one was never displayed.
