It's neither... Or kinda both.

You are actually moving on a track, but it's basically just a bumpy ride. A couple parts speed up, but it's only for like 5-10 yards as you chase or run from dinos.

It's reeeeally fun, so go for it. First time we did it we ran straight from the exit to the entrance to do it again.

It's neither!

Dinosaur is an incredibly rocky and fast moving ride! You are in a vehicle that moves forward whilst suddenly turning left and right and throwing you from left to right ALOT! Great fun :sohappy:

It's like driving down a street with a lot of potholes.

Well, what is it about coasters that you can't handle? Is it a motion sickness thing?

OMG Get me outta here

Well it's like this, when I went on Space Mountain and it took off,if there was a point where I could jump off,I would have,I swear my finger prints are still on the bar,:eek:so motion sickness is one of the things.

If you have motion sickness, it's probably not a good idea to go on Dinosaur. Unless you can handle just a bunch of bumping and fast turns.

Other than that though, I think you and your son would have tons of fun together if you go on!

If Barnstormer did you in, you will hate Dinosaur -- I personally love the ride, but it is very bumpy, (Disney describes it as an extreme thrill ride), jerks up and down, side to side, is very loud, and scary dinousaurs pop out at you (well, assuming you react to things popping out at you - it's pretty tame compared to your normal run of the mill haunted house, for example)...But it DOES have a high degree of nausea/motion sickness attached to it...many people have found it to cause more nausea that other similar rides.

You can always close your eyes -- but you can not hide from the bumping up/down forward/back tilting motion of the ride cars.

If in doubt, have someone how knows you ride it first, and then let you know what they think. They will know you better than we do.

It's a great adventure ride (identical to Disneyland's INdiana Jones -- literally identical, in vehicle design and track layout, with different scenery)...

It's extremely herky jerky. I don't like most rolloercoasters either (barely survived one my attempt at EE) because my stomach doesn't like the drops, but I can handle the jerkiness of Dinsaur and didn't find it frightening or nauseating in that respect.
