Can you believe they have made Robin William's character the face of upcharging and planning for Disney? I find it so shameful.

People will never look at the Genie the same way again, he will just be the face in your phone trying to sell you stuff.

I remember there was some kind of lawsuit about him not wanting to be in advertisements or toys and they want against his agreement.

Im fairly certain his voice talent was all he provided. I dont think he created the animated character.

Yeah my understanding is that agreement was in using Robin’s voice in particular. Robin didn’t want his voice being used in that manner. Hence why you don’t hear his voice used here I believe.. but I could be wrong on that.

Yes he was not an animator. I doubt his animator loves this news either.
