Billboard reports that Robin Williams’ family is currently in conflict over how to split up his estate after they met with a mediator. His widow, Susan and his three children both have different opinions on how much money Susan should get over her lifetime. They have settled their disagreement over his personal effects.
A hearing is set for today in San Francisco Superior Court. The judge scheduled it two months ago, hoping they would finally settle things by then. However, they met with a mediator in April to split up his belongings and could not agree about the money.
Williams committed suicide last August in his home in Tiburon (which he shared with Susan). He left most of the estate to his children, including the money from the sale of his home and property in Napa County. He left the Tiburon home to Susan and said in his will that she should get enough money to maintain it in her lifetime. Lawyers are still working on how much she will get.
