How are the road upkeep costs paid for in WDW? Does Disney pay for it all? Reedy Creek Improvement District maybe?

Reedy Creek and Disney are one... so as the same entity, they pay for it

Since its establishment, the Reedy Creek Improvement District has spent or has under construction in excess of $150 million in public road improvements. The District has over 113 lane-miles of roadways, 70 lane miles which have been constructed by the District, none of which have been funded by county, state or federal funds.

The Reedy Creek Improvement District has funded the costs for traffic controls and roadway costs at the points of access to the District along state and county roads as part of its infrastructure management system.

I only wish they were in charge of roads for the whole state, or even just South Florida. Maybe then some road work would actually get completed.

haha, same in Central Florida, there is a ton of road work to get done, and it's taking for ever!!!!!:fork:

I was coming back from a trip to WDW in December and decided to get off of the Turnpike and onto I-95 as I got closer to home. I figured since it was a Sunday there wouldn't be too much traffic.

WRONG!

The construction that had been started over a year earlier had four lanes condensed to one. It took an hour and a half to go a couple of miles. :fork:
