Road Works around Orlando

Last time we visited WDW the interstate 4 was dug up and long queues formed even in February! It was also pretty confusing for a humble English man to find his way around with all the temporary road signs.

Just a quick question to ask what the current road system is like, have all the major roadworks been completed. We stay in the Davenport area

From Davenport if you take Hwy 27 to I-4, the Construction is complete except for the minor stuff they are still doing to the 429 Toll overpass bridges. That is minor compared to what I-4 was last year. I am 42 miles south of the Disney property on Hwy 27 and it takes me 45 - 50 minutes travel time to the TTc of the Magic Kingdom...

AVOID I-4!!! I-4 is EVIL!! Too many tourists!!! Sorry, I used to live in Orlando and I-4 drove me crazy!! It's WELL worth paying toll
