Fun facts about Wonka Lane -

  • Many of the shirts sold have already existed, or will be borrowed designs from Roald Dahl's website.
  • Wonka Factory Tour incorporates elements from the stage show, both films, and the book.
  • The percentile is nearly dead on accurate as the last time Wonka held a tour there was six children, and depending on source five of them were disqualified. Leaving it as 5/6 prone to accidents.
  • The Oompa Loompa scene came to my mind after thinking about the Great Movie Ride, and specifically Footlight Parade.
  • The songs used per page are
    • Home - Willy Wonka Welcoming Song from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
    • Restaurants - Pure Imagination from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
    • Shops - I Want It Now from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Jr.
    • Attractions - Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory Medley

This certainly was a difficult challenge, from the general lack of activity, to the varying prompts. Still, I think all three teams did a fine job with this week's projects.
It was still nice to see everyone submit though!

I guess two suggestions I would have is maybe...

1- Keep the deadlines on the weekends
2- Probably give everyone the same prompt, just to keep everything organized. It also makes comparing the projects easier too on you, the judge.

But, first round is in the books! Just stopped for gas, on the road again!

Thanks for the suggestions.

The multiple challenge thing was really just an experiment.. I wanted to try out different challenge variations that haven't been done on here before. Consider this a sort-of failed test...

I don't see it is as a failure, more as a trial run. You should tweak it regardless, maybe find a way to integrate all of the projects created together at the end. It is a great idea to partake it, none the less :D

Since this is a Road Trip thread...I have a discussion topic...pitch your ultimate cross country Road Trip:cool:

It can be anywhere in the US or international if you're from another country. And it can have any start or end spot...and it doesn't have to include theme parks...but c'mon...it probably will:D

I'll post mine in a bit

Being a hospitality student, I want to go on a roadtrip to the highest rated hotel in every state starting in Maine and finishing in California. Stops at Disney World and Disneyland included

Guys, I believe I kinda jumped the gun on this... starting in the middle of The Sole Imagineer and right before the upcoming House Cup game... right in the middle of exams for most people here.. around the time when everyone is very busy.. things aren't going as I hoped..

Being the over-reacting human being I am, I even considered throwing in the towel... but I'm not going to do that..

Sorry about that, but I just wanted to release some frustrations I have right now. Hope I didn't go too far..

The next challenge will still be posted tomorrow morning though, and I guarantee you it's going to be a fun one! :p:D
