Lately I have noticed that many pieces of new merchandise for the attraction has less to do with Aerosmith...Case in point..

While the ride still features the band and their music is there plans they are slowly removing them all together to make a simplistly generic RnRC without any big name group to go with it?

That would seem to be the direction they appear to be taking. :(

I know the Aerosmith connection can't last forever but... why not? I love their inclusion, so I'm biased.

I wish they made it a generic opening and you could pick your own music to ride to from some pre-selected bands/artists....

They’d get hammered for ripping off Rip Rocket @ Universal, but...if they do ditch Aerosmith, I’d agree that a basic “music”theme w several artists would be preferred over, say the U2 coaster

I do like the red Mickey rocking shirt !!!!!
Now that its been in action for some time and proven to be a park favorite I dont think they necessarily need the Aerosmith tie in. They could refit the studio and theme by going all Disney and still make it work.

Maybe, maybe not. There are a number of rides out there that let you choose your own soundtrack. I think it is a common enough idea that it is not a total copy.
